COMPLIANCE LAYER FOR VOICE AI

Catch what your AI voice agent promised before it becomes a liability.

Ringfence listens to every call your voice agent or human reps handle, checks it against your approved script and offer terms in real time, and flags unauthorized promises, factual hallucinations, and script drift the moment they happen — with a full audit trail you can hand to legal, not a transcript you have to search.

Works alongside your existing voice agent — Vapi, Retell, Synthflow, or a human call floor. No migration required.

THE PROBLEM

Your voice agent is fast. It's also confidently wrong sometimes — and nobody's listening.

Voice AI platforms like Vapi, Retell, and Synthflow made it trivial to put an agent on the phone. They didn't make it easy to know what that agent actually said. A model under pressure to close a call will occasionally invent a discount, misquote a policy term, or promise something your legal team never approved — and by the time a customer disputes it, the only record is a transcript nobody read.

Human reps have the same problem, just slower-moving: script drift that compounds over months, a "helpful" side comment that becomes an implied guarantee, a new hire improvising past their training.

THE FIX

A compliance layer that runs alongside your calls, not instead of them.

Ringfence doesn't build or route calls — your voice agent or dialer still does that. Ringfence listens in parallel, compares what's said against your approved script, offer terms, and regulatory constraints, and raises a flag within seconds when something drifts. Every flag carries the exact quote, timestamp, and the rule it broke.

WHAT IT CATCHES

Four failure modes, one review queue.

Unauthorized promises

Discounts, refunds, "lifetime" terms, or guarantees that were never approved in your offer sheet — flagged the moment they're spoken, with the exact phrase quoted.

Factual hallucinations

Ringfence cross-checks claims about pricing, coverage, availability, and account specifics against your CRM or product data in real time, not against the model's memory.

Script deviation

Detects when a call drifts from its required disclosures, opt-out language, or required disclaimers — the kind of gap that shows up in a regulator's audit, not a customer complaint.

Tone and pressure escalation

Flags patterns associated with high-pressure tactics — repeated urgency framing, talking over an objection, refusing a stated "no" — separate from content violations.

PII and consent handling

Confirms required consent language was read before recording, card capture, or data collection began — and flags calls where it wasn't.

Cross-agent consistency

If three different agent configurations are quoting three different refund policies, Ringfence surfaces the inconsistency as its own flag category — a config problem, not a call problem.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, running in the background of every call.

01

Connect your call source

Point Ringfence at your voice agent's call stream (native integrations for Vapi, Retell, and Synthflow) or your dialer's recording feed for human reps. Read-only — Ringfence never controls the call.

02

Load your rules

Upload your approved script, offer terms, and compliance requirements once. Ringfence turns them into checkable rules — no prompt engineering required on your end.

03

Monitor in real time

Every call is transcribed and checked against your rules as it happens, with cross-checks against your CRM or product data where relevant, at roughly 3-4 second latency.

04

Review and export

Flags land in a review queue. Clear, dispute, or escalate each one. Every call gets a permanent, timestamped audit record you can export for legal, compliance, or dispute resolution.

WORKS ALONGSIDE YOUR STACK

Ringfence doesn't replace your voice agent. It watches it.

We built native call-stream integrations for the platforms most teams are already running voice agents on. If you're evaluating a voice agent builder, Ringfence is the compliance layer you add once you've picked one — not a reason to pick a specific one.

WHAT TEAMS SAY

"We found out our warranty renewal agent had been offering a deductible waiver that didn't exist in our plan documents. Ringfence caught it on day three. Legal caught it on day zero."

VP of Operations, mid-market auto warranty provider

"Our compliance review used to mean sampling 2% of calls and hoping. Now we see every flagged call, and the ones that clear don't eat anyone's time."

Director of Compliance, regional health plan administrator

"We run on Retell for the agent itself. Ringfence sits on top and it's the only reason we felt comfortable letting the agent handle renewal calls without a human listening live."

Head of CX, home services franchise network

FAQ

Common questions

Does Ringfence replace our voice agent platform?

No. Ringfence doesn't build, route, or answer calls — it monitors calls handled by whatever platform or team you're already using, whether that's Vapi, Retell, Synthflow, Bland, or a human call floor on a standard dialer. Think of it as the compliance layer that sits alongside your existing setup, not a replacement for it.

How fast are flags surfaced?

Typical detection latency is 3-4 seconds from when a flagged statement is spoken. For calls where a live supervisor is monitoring, flags can be pushed to a live dashboard in real time; for calls reviewed after the fact, flags are ready in the queue within a minute of the call ending.

What happens with a false positive?

Every flag can be cleared, disputed, or escalated by a reviewer. Cleared flags feed back into the rule set — if a phrase keeps getting cleared as acceptable, Ringfence surfaces it as a candidate to loosen that rule, so the false-positive rate drops over time instead of staying flat.

Do you store full call recordings?

We store transcripts and the audio segments immediately surrounding each flag by default. Full-call audio retention is available on Growth and Enterprise plans if your compliance program requires it, with retention windows you control. See our Privacy Policy for the full data handling breakdown.

Can Ringfence monitor human reps, not just AI agents?

Yes — roughly a third of our current call volume is human-rep calls ingested from standard dialer recording feeds. The rule engine and audit trail work identically regardless of who's on the call.

How long does setup take?

Connecting a supported voice agent platform is typically same-day — it's a webhook or API key. Loading your script and offer rules usually takes 2-3 business days as we structure your compliance requirements into checkable rules with your team.
